Hi, I'm Sarah, and I write words. Lots and lots of words.

I was the child who always had my nose stuck in a book, who wrote stories and dreamed of becoming an author one day.

A former English teacher with a Bachelor's in English Education and a Master's in TESOL, I now work as a freelance editor and writer, mainly in the educational sector. I have written chapters for literacy textbooks, developed reading passages and assessment items, written text-based lessons for teachers, worked as a developmental editor, and much more. I'm a graduate of the Institute for Writers' Writing for Children and Teens course.

The first chapter of my current work in progress, a young adult novel titled What I Wanted to Say, was longlisted for the Spring 2021 Voyage YA First Chapters contest.

I am an enneagram enthusiast (6w5), a believer in the power of kindness, and I still spend an unreasonable amount of time with my nose stuck in a book.

Thanks for stopping by!
