When I was in high school, I found a copy of a poetry anthology called Discovering Poetry at the Goodwill, and my life was never the same.
I write about mental health, grief, and love. You know--poet stuff. I love writing prose poems, ghazals, abecedarians, zuihitsu, and experimenting with form.
My debut poetry collection, The World is Ending & I'm Crying in the Taco Bell Parking Lot, is forthcoming in 2027 with Lit Fox Books.
I am currently writing an interconnected short story collection.
Some of my favorite poets are Victoria Chang, Ocean Vuong, Allison Benis White, Anne Carson, Carl Phillips, Chloe Honum, and Saskia Hamilton.
